English: Athirapally waterfalls is one of the best waterfalls I have ever seen in my life. It is truly magnificent and a masterpiece of nature. One can literally feel the force of the water as the whole river tumbles down from 90ft. My friend and I recently visited this amazing place located in Athirappilly panchayath, Chalakudy Taluk in of Thrissur district, Kerala on the southwest coast of India. We decided to go down the mountain to feel the beast roaring. I managed to take this shot with huge difficulty as the splash of the water was continuously making my lens wet and blurred with tiny droplets. I must say I was not prepared for such a situation and I did not have any experience shooting in such condition. Since I was very near to the waterfall I was completely drenched and so was my gear. One should always carry a plastic to wrap their gear and protect them from such situation, fortunately, my gear was weather-proof so there was no damage
